I absolutely would not have made it through without the million tabs I had open at every given second while making this, so I wanted to credit not only all the sites I used for actual code reference but the other webmasters who not only ispired my design and layout but also saved my ass when I inspected their sites to figure out what the hell I was doing wrong.
✦ So firstly, big thank you to these people! ✦

Thank you for inspiring me to make my own site :)
despite the frustration and literal hours of trial and error I'm having a lot of fun and it brings me back honestly.
✦ Places I dumped a million files titled 'test.png' to (or something like that) ✦
✦
Catbox - Good for dumping music that needs a direct file like .mp4 where URL's wont work, though, I eventually just uploaded my music directly to the site directory, it was still useful.
✦
Imgur - I assume you know exactly what Imgur is for, but I used it when I didn't want to upload every single small gif directly to the site so if any of my blinkies dissappear it's bc Imgur got tired of my ass.
✦
Color Hex - Also probably pretty self explanatory, but this alongside my webpage eyedropper extension were very helpful in trying to find colours that worked well or matched another asset onscreen. It pains me to have to spell colour the American way every time also.
✦
YT to MP3 - I used this for my audio files, there was probably an easier way but I've always just ripped music directly off of youtube with converters like this one.
✦ Helpful references for when brain was not capable of brain-ing ✦
✦
W3Schools CSS - The W3Schools website is really beginner friendly and has resources for a ton of different markup and programming languages.
✦
W3Schools HTML - The HTML variant of W3schools, I used this one the least bc I already knew most stuff, found out I use some outdated tags tho.
✦
W3Schools JavaScript - The JavaScript variant, I used this one quite a bit literally for only 2 things. I hate js with all my being but she does all the pretty things..
✦
Google doc 1 &
Google doc 2 - These are google docs I've been dragging around in my bookmarks for years from back when I used to frequent
chatlands, I still go on there sometimes I just grew out of chatrooms a bit, that and like little to no time anymore.
✦
JoshComeau.com - This guy has some really helpful articles and guides for more difficult stuff, I was really struggling trying to figure out how the grid display works until I found his interactive guide about it. The interactive part really helped me understand.
✦ Bluesky embed ✦
✦
Blog - Blog where I originally found the code and easier to read instructions for how to use it.
✦
Script - The actual code itself, it wasn't working for me for the longest time until I learned you can't use external js unless you're a supporter.
✦ Misc & Tools ✦
✦
Music Player Tutorial - Yea I'm not good enough at javascript to have been able to put that together myself, I used this youtube tutorial for that one. Hopefully I'll know more js one day lol
✦
Site Visit Counter - A little bit rough to use and the UI isn't great either but it's a cool tool with a bunch of different customizable options, you can make your own 'font' too. (I didn't, I'm lazy)
✦
Porkbun - This is where I bought my domain, decently cheap and they seem to have deals on everything for first time users.
